The Journal of Veterinary Forensic Sciences (JVFS) was incorporated by a group of internationally recognized forensic scientists to publish peer-reviewed articles in the field of veterinary forensic sciences to a global audience in an online, open-access format.
Focus and scope
JVFS focuses on the application of veterinary forensic science and medicine to the investigation of animal crime. JVFS accepts manuscript submissions in the areas of original research, case analysis, investigations, industry standards and guidelines, technical notes, short communications, book reviews, and opinion articles.
All submissions to JVFS must be in the English language and must be on a subject related to the application of the forensic sciences or forensic medicine to the investigation of crimes against animals.
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
